About Me (In My Own Words)
I have been told I need an Aortic valve replacement. With the new studies about the TAVR valves I was considering this. I am 57 and born with a bicuspid valve. I don't want to be on blood thinners but I don't want to have to have multiple surgeries if possible. My Dr. is suggesting the On-x mechanical valve. I am also getting a second opinion and seeing if valve repair is an option. Any other suggestions. There is alot of information to sift through.
