In 2008 diagnosed with Aortic Root Aneurysm. Underwent Bentall procedure in 2008 to replace aortic root and aortic valve with bovine bio prosthetic.
In 2015 developed severe aortic stenosis and required 2nd open heart and had 2nd aortic valve replacement with bovine bio prosthetic again.
Had a bout of endocarditis in 2016.
Now this year was again diagnosed with severe aortic stenosis due to valve calcification and am scheduled in Sept 2021 for my 3rd open heart procedure to replace my aortic valve again.
Yup been out of touch. My 3rd valve surgery went fine. I'll be 4 years out in Sept 25.
I still have a hyper dynamic left ventricle which is annoying and probably causing premature wear on my valves. On 200mg of lopresssor already - can't go much higher. Just keeping on.
