About Me (In My Own Words)
After two years of keeping an eye on my aortic valve stenosis, my cardiologist says it is time for open heart surgery. I am a widow and do not have family or caretakers near me. I am meeting with the surgeon on Friday, May 5, to discuss SAVR. I prefer to have TAVR but my cardiologist says that I am too young to be a candidate.
