About Me

I'm 75 and have been diagnosed with severe aortic stenosis. I've looked into the TAVR procedure..however the Dr said the valves in my artery were too small to do that procedure..I'm really disappointed. I'm getting a 2nd opinion to find a less invasive surgery other than open heart. This surgery really terrifies me and I'm not sure how well I would survive it. The recovery has to be really hard..is there someone who has had this surgery?
