Hi everyone, I'm Paras. I have a bicuspid aortic valve and first learned about my murmur back in 2019 during a routine check by my PA. Since then, I've had yearly echos, and this year things changed quickly — my stenosis went from mild to severe without any clear reason. I'm scheduled for open-heart surgery on October 31 for a mechanical valve replacement. It's been an emotional journey with lots of anxiety and questions, but I'm trying to stay strong and positive. Grateful to be part of this community where everyone truly understands what this feels like. ❤️
