I have bicuspid aortic valve which has now been diagnosed with aortic valve stenosis too and dilating ascending aorta. I'll going in for SAVR with mechanical. On-X or St Judes valve. Looking at my age (38 years) and profession (social anthroplogist wandering in remote areas of India) I hope it's a good and wise informed choice made by me and my Doctor - Dr Devi P. Shetty.
