About Me

Are there any Kaiser patients out there...or friends of them. I was diagnosed 10 years ago...mild ... Recently my tests show severe...I feel good... no discomfort...but they say I need surgery in 6 mo. I live alone and family is out of the area...And I moved here last year. The people I know who did this procedure live with a spouse...who did a lot of research and follow up care... I have to do it solo... The procedure doesn't scare me...it's after care and follow up in and out of the hosp... that I am overwhelmed about. Everyone says just have someone there... nice idea but not practical... How about a Doula Program for heart surgery patients?
