I was first diaignosed with heart disease in 1998. My first bypass surgery was that year for the left decending main and the left main artery. I had another bypass surgery
in 2001. The right main artery was bypassed but it became blocked again. It had previously had a stent inserted which had also blocked. My cardiologist inserted another stent inside the previous stent. This was the solution for the right main. In 2007 I had a tricspid valve repair which has now failed. I am told by my cardiogist that I need to have the tricuspid valve replaced this time because of pulmonary hypertension and that my mitral also needs to be repaired or replaced. My records were sent to Dr. Gillinov at Cleveland Clinic. I was told that I am at too high a risk for surgery without an evaluation at Cleveland. I am waiting for a reply from the Cleveland Clinic to set up this evaluation.
