Congenital bicuspid aortic valve; 47 years of age and in good health. I underwent the Ross Procedure on August 2nd in Austin, Texas. My surgeon was Dr. Oswalt. My initial recovery had a small bump in the road when my heart failed to regain its normal rhythm. I had a pacemaker implanted and my recovery has been swift. I'm in my third week of a twelve week cardio rehab and doing well!
