About Me (In My Own Words)

I was diagnosed with endocarditis in january 2010. I had to have aortic valve replacement 1/12/10. It was the scariest day of my life. My Surgeon said the best valve for me was the Bovine Tissue valve because of endocarditis. I had my one year anniversary this year. It was a lot to go through at 32 years old.
