I was born with congenital heart defects. I have a coarctation of the aorta with bicuspid aortic valve, aortic stenosis and parachute mitral valve. I am 41 and and going to have valve surgery in near future. very anxious......My surgery is set for 1/18/13 and all I can think about is what will happen if I don't make it. I have 2 children 9 & 11 who I worry about daily. My biggest supporter has been my mom who I am blessed to have her and all my family in my life.
