About Me (In My Own Words)
I am a 62 yr old woman and have had a heart murmur since at least 16 yrs but was not diagnosed with aortic stenosis until about 2010. It is suspected that it is a bicuspid arotic valve. It was monitored and in late September the progression crossed the threshold of waiting to needing a replacement.
I have a surgery date of Dec 11 2013. I am very greatful to have found Adam's book with all the useful tips to prepare before and after survgery. I am also very fortunate to have access to a very skilled surgeon in my home town.
