About Me (In My Own Words)
I have chatted with Adam, and he was very helpful but here is my 71yrs old husband’s story. He went in for a valve replacement Dr. recommended the mechanical and not the biological valve. Surgery went well, he was up and walking each day after. 5 days later he needed a blood transfusion, which we understood he may need. That evening about 6pm that was given. At 3am the hospital called to inform us he was having seizures, and to come immediately.
We arrived and waited and waited, all they would tell us is that they were working on him, nothing about what was happening. Nothing was communicated. A while later the surgeon came in and shook her head and said he passed away! Utter shock. We have a meeting set up with all his medical records plus they paid for an autopsy to be performed with records from that also. Hopefully from this we will get some closure as what went on that final night.🙏
