About Me (In My Own Words)

I am still in the early stages of working through my diagnosis. The regurgitation was discovered during an annual exam at work. I am a firefighter. I have seen a local cardiologist and gotten a second echo. He changed my diagnosis to moderate severe insufficiency. My echo states I have partially fused right and left coronary cusps with mild diastolic dysfunction. I have a second opinion scheduled with the Mayo Clinic in Arizona in early December. Hoping to obtain clarification of my diagnosis
