About Me (In My Own Words)
I am 25 years old and found out two weeks ago I will need to repair my bicuspid aortic valve. I found out about the valve when I was 17, and I always knew I would need an operation but Doctors always explained much farther down the road. It was very shocking to find out how it has gotten worse and how I need to operate so soon. I am two and a half years into my first career job and am in the best shape of my life. Having a very hard time pre-surgery dealing with the upcoming surgery and recovery period.
