I was born with a bicuspid aorta valve. At age 14 I had OHS, the surgeon decided to repair and open up the valve. The last few years the stenosis and regurgitation has gotten worse. I have also developed an an aneurysm in the ascending aorta. Looking back, I'm grateful the repair lasted 30 years as it never gave me problems or held me back over the years.
