About Me (In My Own Words)
I have had my mitral valve replaced with a cow valve 7 years ago. Last year I was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation. I have since had cardio version and I seem to be doing great. The only thing all this has done is make my lungs not work as well. I have been on xarelto since the first surgery. Now they are telling me that I shouldn't be on it because of the valve. I am tired all the time and can't walk as far as I used to. I am only 47 years old and sometimes fell like I am 87.(no offense). My son who is 11 trys not to ask me to play with him unless it is a sit down type of thing because he says that I wont be able to breath if I do it.
