I'm new to all this! I am 42 and was having lots of PVCs. Had an echo and stress test. In addition to all the pvcs they saw severe mitral valve regurgitation. So they brought me back in for a heart cath and tee. Confirmed what the echo said. At that point my cardiologist said I will need surgery to fix the valve but she would like to recheck in 6 months. I met the surgeon she suggested. Then I got another opinion from a second cardiologist. He also agreed with checking back and having another echo in 3 months. So Feb 24 I go back.
