About Me (In My Own Words)
It has almost been two months since my surgical bicuspid aortic valve replacement. I do not live in CA, I live in NM, so I will be meeting with Dr. Joanna Chikwe at the end of June.
I have been doing well and am pretty much back to normal activity.
I am still amazed that I had zero pain after my surgery. The only discomfort I felt was back pain discomfort that lasted about one week. I do find myself getting tired from time to time and have learned to listen to my body to take it easy!
I will always be forever grateful to Dr. Ckikwe and her team. They are all superb. I wish you all most success on upcoming surgeries and quick recovery. Be gentle with your healing time.
