About Me (In My Own Words)
I was diagnosed with Mitral Valve Prolapse in my early 20's. It's been slowly getting progressively worse for the past 40 years and my cardiologist has told me he thinks that the valve needs to be repaired sooner than later. I have embarked on this new journey with fear and trepidation but I feel so fortunate to have my husband John beside me. It is said that the things that are the scariest bring you the most happiness.
