About Me (In My Own Words)
Hey there, Bi-Cuspid valve and knew that this day was coming at some point but I guess you are never really prepared. I live in the NYC metro area right outside the Lincoln Tunnel in the Montclair area.
Echo showed severe stenosis/ calcification. I have been getting dizzy now for what seems like a year. The dizziness comes when I get up from a chair, desk, couch or a car.
I have been to the Hear Valve teams at CIMC in the city as well as Morristown Medical. Both agree that the valve needs replacement and with in the next 90 days.
I have been told by one team that based on the level of calcification that TAVR is not a good option and Ross makes more sense based on my age, fitness level, and valve type and level of calcification.
