About Me (In My Own Words)
Just celebrated my one year anniversary today of my mitral valve repair surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. I'm feeling great-- did a 10 mile hike at 10,000 feet in Rocky Mountain National Park with my son and snorkeled with my family in Barbados this past summer. Thank You Dr. Gillinov, professional surgical team and support staff! Through Adam's wonderful work, I met an incredible friend and mitral valve patient who encourage me through the entire experience. Thank you Anita and Adam!
