About Me (In My Own Words)
I'm 23 years of age. I was unaware of my aortic aneurysm. It happened on feb.21, 2014. I felt the bubble burst on my heart valve, was rushed to the hospital because I thought that I was having a heart attack. After spending a few hours in the ER, they did a CT and rushed me into surgery! I now have an pericardial tissue heart valve! I spent 8 days at baptist east, Dr. John Craig and the staff at baptist did an amazing job! I was so glad to be there. I'm currently living a safe and healthy lifestyle and will be preparing myself for another surgery in a few years!!
