About Me (In My Own Words)
I am 3 weeks post op, and I’m feeling good. I had a fantastic experience at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. I was very worried prior to surgery and now I feel like all that worrying was not necessary. I never had any pain and only took Tylenol prior to PT but didn’t really need it. The hardest part of this process is remembering the sternal precautions because I feel so good. I’d love to share my experience at Mayo with anyone who is considering going there. Be prepared to hear that Minnesota nice is a real thing!
