I did not know I was born with a heart murmur. Being anemic all my life, I ate everything and never gained any weight.
After having 2 children, and years later my monthly periods got heavier. Causing me to have severe anemia (level 5).
Was hospitalized, and was given 4 units of blood.
I then got a gallstone infection, and during emergency gallstone surgery, my heart stopped.
It was then, after "bringing me back". My aortic valve had had a leak. The infection from my gallstone, tore my aortic valve (endocarditus).
Basically blood was pumping into my heart.
