About Me (In My Own Words)
A little over 2 years ago I met with my first cardiologist. I had all of a sudden gained a Heart Mummer. (Lack of energy and quality of life is what drove me to seek help. I had hoped to find a reason why I was not losing weight and low energy.)
I was told I had a blockage in the Aortic Valve but could probably make it another 2 years before surgery.
Fast Fwd 2 years, I developed a leak and the surgery was inevitable. The research team hoped I was a candidate for TVAR but that wasn't too be. I was praying hard not to go through Open Heart Surgery.
I have had multiple surgeries since the age of 15 when I was diagnosed with cancer. (Hodgkin's Disease) The radiation to cure the cancer is the leading cause of every ailment I've had including this one.
