About Me (In My Own Words)
74 years old. Have advanced CAD. Always very active, was considered to be in good shape. First HA in 2000, stented. 2nd stent(s) 2012, then 2015, 2017, severe angina 2022, couldn't stent (boy did they try). 3x by pass at another hospital. Around the 2015 and 2017 I lost 1/3 my body weight. I have no fat on my body and my muscle mass is is trying to escape. QUESTION: The sternum wire is like a sharp ridge at the top 3 or 4 inches. If I touch it against anything it hurts like well you know. It is has bee nearly two years. Can they still remove the wires? I have been complaining to the Cardiologist and he never mentioned once they could be removed.
