In Feb. 2018, I was feeling extremely run down over the course of a few days. I went to the zoo with my family and could barely make it around. After getting home, I checked my temp and decided to head to the ER. After a series of tests it was determined I had a blood infection that has attacked my mitral valve but they also discovered an aneurysm the size of a grapefruit on the ascending aorta. Blood infection caused by cutting myself brushing and not having changed my toothbrush after being sick. First they were going to perform emergency surgery but realized aneurysm has been there awhile and had time to cure infection. A month later waiting for surgery.
