About Me (In My Own Words)
I am 55 and i feel short of breath and heart pain if i walked short distance. First, I made a appointment with familly doctor about deflux of acid but i feel like it is the one. Later I made a apointment with cardiologist. After cardiac ultrasound and CT. Doctor told me that i had bicuspid aortic valve and it is not opening well. I was overwhelmed but made surgery schedule after 2 weeks from the test date. I live in GA and i dont have much choices, mechanical or tissue valve (ross is not an option in here GA). I think that I cannot keep up with blood thinner; thus, my choice was cow tissue valve. It has been 10 days from my surgery. I feel getting better and better everyday. however, my concern is how long i can keep this valve because I dont want OHS minimal in my life. OHS and recovering is toughest experience i never had before and I am not sure for next time.
