About Me (In My Own Words)
Developed severe leak and aneurysm. Surgery was 10-11-2012. Doing great. I am a 54 year old male who loves family my significant other for 21 years and my savannah cats!
The worst part was waiting the 2 months for surgery. My pericardium had so much scar tissue it took my Surgeon an extra 2 hours to remove it. Adam's book helped me prepare but my experience was very different than his. I am not the same person I was 3 months ago. Not only am I healthier I care more about myself and appreciate life. My Surgeon Dr Derek Brinster at the VCU Pauley Heart Center was simply magnificent. Along with his staff and the entire network at VCU/MCV in Richmond Va. I highly advise anyone who needs this type of surgery to contact them. Let me know if I can help!
