I was born with a bicuspid aortic valve and have been monitoring it my adult life. I generally have led a healthy lifestyle and a year and a half ago I ran my first 1/2 marathon. I went from moderate to severe stenosis in the last year. I had a heart catherization yesterday and will need to get it replaced.
