About Me (In My Own Words)
I went down in the gym. They had an AED. save my life and a crack team of paramedics who kept me breathing
in medical coma for 12 days while they suctioned my lungs.
Surgeon refused to operate until I regained consciousness. Had to decide mechanical or biological.
The first year was quite a ride with definitive improvement at 3 month intervals. A couple of episodes of Vtach that sure was exciting. Was able to break it with some IM mag sulphate. My cardio got all excited and immediately started me on Bystolic.
Since I have researched medical lit over 30 years its something I never get tired of. One night at 2am scanning abstracts discovered the powerful and safe antiarrythmic Ive ever used. Heck of a lot safer than amiodorone. I will not give my opinion here of what I really think about that drug. Study the drugs docs give you. I cannot overemphasize how important that is. I recommend the app HealthXpress. Scan the abstracts daily. there are many others. Explore
But if you have arrythmia issues like I did they are scary. They can kill you. Especially VTach
discuss with your cardiologist using PDE5 inhibitors for arrythmia. For me it was like a miracle. Does lots of other good things too. Most docs cant keep up with the latest so help them out. And yourself too.
Hope it works the same for you. Best of luck
