About Me (In My Own Words)
I was diagnosed Oct. 2014 - after an episode occurred after bounding up shallow steps at PNC Park . I had an echo and was diagnosed with moderate mitral valve regurgitation, stenosis and prolapse. It is very frustrating because I cannot do what I used to do ~ I have to take rests and " go slower" . No longer can I start out at high speed . The cardiologist has not recommended surgery - just another echo in Oct 2015 - I believe I have some afib ~ as I feel my heart is racing and fluttering at times ~
