About Me (In My Own Words)
My aortic valve was replaced by a bovine valve on 10/12/2007 by Victor Melikian, M.D. It is now 03/20/2011. I'm amazed at how well I recovered after heart surgery. At age 89, I exercise each morning (23 push-ups, 1/2 mile walk), have 3 meals a day, an alcoholic beverage after 4;30 PM, read, and sleep 7 to 8 hours a night.
