About Me (In My Own Words)
Gregory was diagnosed with a heart murmur when he was about two years old. Later, the doctor confirmed that it was Aortic Stenosis and said it would probably not cause any problems until much later in life. Gregory had his heart checked at his physical appointments and when he was in his late 20s he was tested and the stenosis had progressed to moderate. He returned to his doctor in May 2009 when he was 33 yerars old and the stenosis had progressed to severe. He had an echocardiogram at that time and still the Cardiologist wanted to take a wait and see approach. It is now January 2010 and Gregory saw his Cardiologist yesterday (1/13/10) and was told that he did not need to return until another six months when he would have another echocardiogram.
