About Me (In My Own Words)
1990 first presented with high blood pressure. High cholestro. Reduced my intake of junk food, and eliminated stress, doing meditation.
1996 presented with atrial flutter and atrial fribulation.
1998 radio frequency ablation failed to fix atrial flutter but AF settled right down.
2000 Being checked in on a monthly basis for cardio-version. Different meds, helped a little.
2001 Open Heart Surgery (OHS) to perform STAR procedure, fixed arythmias
2003 Mitral Valve (MV) regurgitation fixed in OHS. Prosthetic MV inserted.
2008 Anemia - test to find that the St Jude's MV was bashing my red blood cells.
2008 Replaced the St. Jude's MV
2009 Tests show that my tricuspid valve is leaking.
2010 I am doing regular physical exercise to fitness.
2012 so far so good.
