About Me (In My Own Words)
I have bicuspid aortic valve and recently diagnosed with moderate to severe aortic stenosis. I have an appt with my PMD today to find out if I can continue to work.
Having little knowledge of valve surgery I did what most of us do and typed "aortic valve surgery" in the Google search bar and here I am. I am just beginning my research of doctors, hospitals and procedures. The first thing I did was purchase the "Patients Guide to heart valve Surgery" and it is well worth it.
