Hi guys, I'm 53 and have an Ascending Aortic aneurysm, (not in the arch) with a normal aortic valve, time for the valve sparing procedure. We have been watching it for 7 years. I have a history of extreme heavy lifting and over exertion. In great shape for my age, and of course this surgery makes me nervous. I feel fortunate that we caught this early.
