About Me (In My Own Words)
My FAA flight surgeon heard a murmur on a routine flight physical, he has listened to my heart twice a year with annual EKG for the past ten years, in March 2021. Did follow up with my primary care physician and found out I was in sever regurgitation with a bicuspid aortic valve and aortic root enlargement. Had OHS in early Aug 2021. Little over a year out, doing well heart has returned to normal size and have no regurgitation. Not back to flying, was an airline pilot with a large, you all would know the name, company.
