About Me

I was diagnosed with osteomyelitis in my left foot in September 2015. March of 2016 I was diagnosed with a septic joint of right hip. Long story short...the Strep B from my foot and hip vegetated into my aortic valve. I ended up with OHS with a bovine valve implant on August 30, 2016. I had several twists and turns in my recovery and ended up with several more heart surgeries a few weeks later. I had along wild ride in that hospital stay of 55 days.
