About Me

My story is in a YouTube video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nvu_0Ny72-U I qualified for the Boston Marathon at age 60 and was in the 2013 race. I did not finish because of the bombing. Three months later, I noted skipped beats (PVCs) and saw a cardiologist who detected a murmur leading to an echo and a diagnosis of a bicuspid valve. I was followed for 4 years before it was replaced in 2018.
