About Me

I am recovering from mitral valve repair surgery performed at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston on July20th, this year. Praise God, the surgery was successful. I had10 days of Afib after surgery, the sinus rhythm finally reverted back. I had problems with metapropilol..head pressure and blurred vision. After 12 weeks, I'm off ALL medications...that is a blessing and great miracle. Experiencing still some headaches, head pressure, and periodic occular migranes. Also, I've developed a frozen shoulder due to sternotomy. Started cardiac rehab a bit late. Also pt for the shoulder. I'm more then blessed, dispite some bumps in the road, that things are moving forward... by the Lord s grace. If God saw you through your surgery...He'll see you through your recovery. Trust Him and be patient. There are up and down days. Praying for all of you. Has anyone similar post op issues? Blessings
