About Me (In My Own Words)
Oct. 8,9 2011 labored breathing, hard to get air, even just sitting.
Oct. 10 in ER. By 5 pm diagnosed with an aortic root aneurysm &
aortic valve regurgitation. Experienced nurse performing
echocardiogram alerted cardiologist who just happened to still be
in the office.
Oct. 20 Ten days later receiving new parts! Opted for mechanical
valve. Just 49 yrs. young! Aneurysm could have blown out, then
I would've been toast, 6 feet under, and not writing this blog, just over
3 months later. Eric
