I was diagnosed with a bicuspid aortic valve when I was 5, after regular checkups and being fit young bloke playing soccer for the last 15 years at 21 years old my regurgitation moved towards moderate/severe. I had an aortic valve repair surgery that was very successful and am now on the road to recovery.
