Asymptomatic patient. Heart murmur detected during routine physical exam. Echocardiogram revealed mitral valve prolapse with severe regurgitation caused by torn chordae tendineae of the posterior leaflet. Minimally invasive, robotically assisted, mitral valve repair done at ECHI by Dr. Chitwood.
