About Me (In My Own Words)
My husband Doug is 56. Happy. We were at the beach in July 2014 and he collapsed. Lifeguards brought him back and at the ER doctors ran tests to find he had a bicuspid valve whose time had come. Now we are facing valve replacement surgery and all the emotions that come with it.
