About Me

I was told I had a heart murmur (mitral valve prolapse) in my 30's. Leaking was minimal so I totally put it out of my mind. Now, in my late 50's my GP wanted me to do a routine echo. It showed severe regurgitation and a tear. Don't have any symptoms and have never felt better so this came as a shock. Just scheduled surgery for April 23rd.
