About Me (In My Own Words)
I am a 30 year U.S. Marine Corps veteran. I have always had a heart murmur, in 1999 I had to have back surgery. During all the test and preparations for surgery my severe arotic reguratation was detected. I have been getting echograms for 10 years now. Last month we meet with the surgeons and have made a plan to have the valve surgery early next year, "En Shala" as they say in Iraq God Willing. I have four combat tours and have never really faced this head on, but now it appears to consume my thoughts endlessly.
