well,, i was born with a bad valve,,, bi instead of a tri. so over the years the stenosis has set in.. I am 48 years old and has opted for a mechanical valve.... maybe.... my surgery was suppose to be today Sept. 13th but was postponed to Sept. 24th... so another two weeks..... i am getting a little nervous about this.. according to this book my valve is critical. .6... i think... so should i be working still, doing anything? oh ya i had heart surgery before when i was 8.. in Montreal Canada... i had a narrowing of the aorta. that was repaired.
