About Me (In My Own Words)
In September of 2008, I had an AVR (tissue, bovine) Aortic resection for an Aneurysm, and a single by-pass (Coronary Artery). I was 61 years old. My recovery was relatively uneventful. Not much pain or discomfort. However, during my recovery and to the present, I have had some minor problems with my memory. Was this due to the surgery and prolonged time of being under anesthesia? I'm not sure, or is it just the piece of aging? The only other notable piece of my recovery, was that food tasted very strange. I feel great and thanks to all who helped me.
